Advanced Landscape Lighting
This full-day class focuses on learning different styles of lighting design, effective use of lamps, and how to integrate colored lenses into the lighting project, helping the contractor to offer a higher value line of services.

Basic Landscape Lighting
This half-day class covers basic fundamental design principles of a landscape lighting project. Design topics include various landscape lighting techniques and how to achieve them as well as using imaging design software. Also covered is a breakdown of the components of a landscape lighting project. This class will guide the contractor to a successful start in the landscape lighting business!

Electricity
This full-day class will focus on a general theory of electricity geared toward use in irrigation, landscape lighting, holiday lighting, and pump applications.

IA Certification – NEW CLASS!
Sponsored by the Indiana Irrigation Contractors Council (IICC), a division of the Indiana Professional Lawn and Landscape Association (IPLLA).

This two-day class, one-day exam is designed to refresh the skills of irrigation contractors, and will serve as a good review for the Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) Exam. It will cover advanced soil-water-plant relationships, advanced hydraulics, pumps, job safety requirements, national codes that affect our industry, scheduling, water conservation, and details about system uniformity and efficiency.

Irrigation Design
This two-day class will explore and explain basic landscape irrigation design, including hydraulics, sprinkler specification and layout, water, soil, and plant relationships, and determination of water supply requirements. During the second day, students will draw a complete irrigation design. Participants should bring an engineering scale, drafting compass, pencils, and a calculator.

Irrigation Installation
This three-day class is for the field employee that has one to two years' experience in the irrigation industry and is ready to make the jump to being the crew foreman. It will cover basic design and hydraulics to lay out and installing a residential system from beginning to end, as well as time management principals that will increase their efficiency and profitability. The three-day class will also offer a potential field experience if weather permits.

Irrigation Service
This full-day class covers service of controllers, valves, sprinklers, pumps, and pipe. Common issues of servicing irrigation systems will be demonstrated and discussed. Bring your favorite service equipment!

Irrigation Service for Landscape Professionals (who occasionally break irrigation parts) – NEW CLASS!
This half-day class will explain the basic components of an irrigation system, and will demonstrate how to make quick fixes when you put your shovel through an irrigation line or run your mower over a sprayhead.

LED Landscape Lighting
Take advantage of the hottest trend in landscape lighting: this class makes the newest technology accesible and ready to market!

New Products, Quick Profits – NEW CLASS!
This half-day class gives contractors a brief exposure to each of several different product lines. The class will demonstrate installation of a very basic landscape lighting package, a fire rock, and an Aquabasin water feature. This will be a great way to learn about just how easy it can be to incorporate an additional feature in a landscaping project.

Pumps
This half-day class covers irrigation pump specification, pump control products, and basic pump troubleshooting.

Tucor/Two Wire
This half-day class teaches the irrigation contractor basic installation and troubleshooting techniques for the two-wire irrigation control system. The Fort Wayne class will focus on the Tucor product line; the Fishers class will also include Acclima and Rain Bird two wire systems.

Water Gardening
This half-day seminar demonstrates how easy and profitable water feature installation can be and how the fastest growing trend in landscaping can be a valuable addition to your existing business. The class will provide proven sales and installation techniques that can help you tap into this highly profitable market.
